The MSc programme has a flexible structure. It provides solid analytic skills while leaving ample room for you to define and shape your own unique profile. It contains mandatory as well as elective modules and the choice of at least one specialization.
During the programme, you have to choose at least one of three specialisations:

A specialisation is a well-organised collection of courses that allows you to work with advanced topics within a specific area, and prepares you for writing your MSc thesis. The programme offers a total of 3 specialisations. You must complete one specialisation during your studies.
It is possible to apply for an individual specialisation, where you combine a package of 22.5 ECTS point of connected and relevant courses. Taking a look at the specialisations offered by the other MSc Study Programmes may inspire you. An individual specialisation can also be obtained at another university in Denmark or abroad.
You also have an excellent opportunity to shape your own profile through electives. You can choose between all the courses offered at the IT University at a Masters level, as well as take electives at a different university.
The teaching method in the MSc programme in Digital Innovation & Management alternates between traditional lectures and project work, which demands a responsible, independent effort, collaborative skills and project management. Your professors and lecturers are among the best in the field and your abilities and effort will be challenged accordingly. Project work is an important part of the MSc Programme in Digital Innovation & Management. This method of working gives you the opportunity to delve deeper into specific areas that interest you or your project group. Project work also hones your collaboration skills, not just with fellow students or teaching staff but also with businesses and organisations.
The programme is designed for you to collaborate with public or private companies on at least two projects during the programme, ensuring that you will always be working with current industry or societal chal¬lenges, and enabling you to network with the business community even before you graduate.
The IT University of Copenhagen offers state scholarships to three or four exceptionally talented MSc applicants (full-degree students) from outside EU and EEA every year. The scholarships will be offered to the applicants who achieve the best scores according to the criteria in our admission rules. The state scholarships consist of free tuition and partly covering of living expenses.
Applicants cannot apply for the scholarships. The IT University considers all admitted MSc students for the scholarships and informs the students chosen for the scholarships in their letter of admission.
Please note that if you recieve a scholarship, you will have to follow and pass full time studies.
