    Description

The online Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Security Management is an innovative major designed to give working adults interested in security management training the knowledge and skills needed in either a criminal justice or security management career. Students who want to earn their criminal justice degree should learn more about what our program offers.

The major bridges both the criminal justice and corporate security management fields, giving you strengths that historically have been weaknesses in a singular sector.

SLU's online Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Security Management examines the assumptions and theories, laws and technology, and practical investigative issues with the realities of the workplace and the criminal justice and private security environments.

The Criminal Justice and Security Management Bachelor's degree also develops management skills in security management and social science skills in the criminal justice field.

This online Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice & Security Management is a professional program that allows you to specialize in one of three tracks:

    • Criminal Justice
    • Security Management
    • Security Management Technology

A Criminal Justice and Security Management degree uniquely brings two apparently similar, but very different, disciplines together.

A Criminal Justice and Security Management graduate, regardless of chosen track, will have a unique foundation that opens more professional doors than a graduate who holds a single criminal justice degree or security management degree.

SLU offers the Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Security Management online, as well as in a blended online/on-ground format.
